MIMO Technology

My wireless router is on the blink so I’ve been looking at what new products have come onto the market, and I’ve just come across MIMO technology for the first time. I’m considering buying the Netgear version, the WPN 824, when it hits the UK in May.

I think MIMO, with its increased range could lead to more private individuals setting up their own hotspots, particularly if services like Zonerider move over to the UK.

Hmmm… Mimo’s still up in the air with the wireless technology still on Draft-N.

Im amazed that companies like LinkSys are flooding the market with the unratified draft-N. Did you see the lab reviews? Many of these perform less stellarly than the old G standard
