When will Google launch Gmail?
After stunning the market in April last year by offering 1Gb mailboxes, Google still haven’t launched a full service although they are slowly opening the service to more users.
Now that Yahoo! have announced that they are making 1Gb mailboxes their standard size to match Google, and MSN hotmail are sure to follow, Google’s slowness has probably ended any chance they had to corner the webmail market.
Maybe Google don’t intend to launch a service and the announcement last year was a clever ploy to make Yahoo! and MSN waste money beefing up their storage!
