Smartphones to replace Digital cameras?

I’ve been so impressed with the camera on my 6630 that when I jet I’m off to Jamaica in a couple of weeks I’ve decided to not take a traditional camera, just my Nokia 6630. I might even Moblog a few shots although it might be too expensive.

I’ve even ordered a 256Mb memorycard on eBay so I can store loads of photos.

Is this a sign of things to come that people will ditch their traditional cameras? My camera is only 1.3m megapixels and it’s good enough for me - fairly soon there will be 5m megapixel cameraphones on the market which surely must be good enough even for ardent photographers.

A member of my family recently purchased the Nokia 3230, I think it's great, the camera is good however, I think the actual screen plays an important role as well.http://sevasblog.com
