SKypeIn in beta


Skype have been making a lot of noise about their SkypeOut service which has finally reached one million users, but over the last month or so they have been quietly beta testing SkypeIn, which lets people with regular phone lines call you.

A year of SkypeIn will set you back €30, and so far the only phone numbers you can register are from France, the UK, the US, and Hong Kong - but you don’t actually have to live in one of those countries to get one of those numbers and they do throw in a free subscription to Skype Voicemail.

Now all I need is a Skype handset and I can ditch my traditional landline……
