Realworks Acquiring Mobile Game Company For $15 Million

RealNetworks is making its first salvo in the mobile gaming business, after a succesful online gaming effort with RealArcade: it is buying out Finnish game company Mr. Goodliving for $15 million.

Goodliving offers games for cellphones throughout Europe through relationships with wireless carriers like Vodafone Group PLC and Deutsche Telekom. The company’s products include the popular Playman Sports series, and Trivial Pursuit.

RealNetworks says it plans to expand its mobile-games business into the U.S. and Asia.
