Make Your Own Star Wars film for $20K? - Star Wars Revelations
I’m not sure how much George Lucas spent to make Return of the Sith, but I’m betting it was more than $20K. That’s the amount Felux, spent to create a serious 40-minute adventure film, complete with spacecraft chases, lightsaber duels, extraterrestrial cityscapes, treasure-seeking Jedi and a rivalry-obsessed DarthVader. The quality is amazing - especially when you consider how much Felux spent.
Star Wars: Revelations, has become an Internet phenomenon. It has had nearly 1 million free downloads since it premiered last month on Felux’s Web site.
George Lucas says he hasn’t seen Revelations or many of the other fan-made tribute films, but he still considers himself a fan of their work.
“I’ve been pretty busy lately, so I haven’t seen them,” he says. “But I’m pleased that Star Wars inspires anyone to do something like that. I appreciate that kind of devotion.”
Other Star Wars sites offering the movie have been swamped. A disclaimer on TheForce.net reported that demand for Revelations “has blown out our bandwidth.”
This download link worked for me if you want to watch the film for yourself.

A tribute site for George Lucas has been opened at http://www.thankyougeorge.com thanking him for 28 years of Star Wars. They want to get 1,000,000 signatures and stories to him later this summer.

Forgot to say that Shane, the director of revelations had signed the tribute too. They have a fan focus on him.
