Orange will be among several 3G operators to offer mobile TV services this summer. The channel line-up will include ITN News, CNN and two channels dedicated to the reality shows Celebrity Love Island and Big Brother.
3 will also be offering customers the chance to watch live action from the Big Brother house.
The Orange TV service will only be available to 6680 owners and will a free download.
I still think that streaming TV to handsets won’t be popular and that a Video-on-Demand type service or a PVR is required.
