Googles Makes Translations Look Easy

I remember when I first started using babelfish in 1998 when I was working in Corporate Finance and I constantly had to translate Finnish, Swedish, Danish and German documents and webpages into English. The translation was good enough to get the gist but in some cases it came up with gibberish.

Now Google’s research arm has come up with a technology that appears to be more accurate than current technologies, as demonstrated in the picture.

Hopefully, one day someone will develop a live translator that resides in your phone. Now that would be very useful.
