Jason Calacanis of Weblogs has announced that they are generating $2K per day on Google Adsense. Darren of Problogger thinks that this could be increased by 10% per day if they included ads within the content.
The figures may sound impressive, but Weblogs run 78 blogs – that’s an average of $26 per day or $780pm. If this is typical of the kind of sums made from blogging then ,yes, it would be a nice extra income stream, but it wouldn’t be enough to make me go full-time.
Admittedly some of Weblogs blogs are probably making more cash like Engadget, but there can’t be that many.
