TypePad Battles Comment/Trackback Spam

Micropersuasion reports that Typepad have made some major improvements in how trackback spam is handled including moderation and Typekey-based authentication.

Personally, I think I prefer the way blogware seem to be tackling the spam problem.
They appear to be developing a system similar to the way Cloudmark deal with email spam, such that spam is dealt with automatically without any user intervention.

“such that spam is dealt with automatically without any user intervention.”
We do this on TypePad as well, these new features are in addition to our automatic spam management, in order to give people the tools to manage their communities better.
