When does something stop being cool? Surely, when everyone has one it becomes a commodity product and loses its ‘must have’ status?
Will, I think the iPod may have reached that point given the rumour that the Queen now has one. I see so many iPods on my travels now that I no longer have to explain to people how it works and why I purchased one or why they need one.
My iPod is now just another tool that I use daily like my mobile, laptop or tv. I no longer get a buzz out of using it, it’s just something that provides me with a service.
I think I need to buy a new gadget ASAP to regain that buzz – if only the Xbox 360 or N91 were out next month………
