I had to drive into Harley Street today for a clinic appointment. The roads were pretty much deserted so I got there a bit too early so I thought I’d whizz around the block quickly to see how people were coping.
Everyone lucked so glum but it was good to see so many people trying to not let the acts of a few misguided individuals change the way they live their lives. What was really nice to see was that people seemed to be acknowledging each other with little smiles, saying ‘good morning’ etc. Londoners normally are too busy to acknowledge people but I think at the moment we want to let each other know we are in this together.
London after all, is still the best city in the world.
