ICE-In Case of Emergency Campaign
Everton | Jul 10, 2005 | Comments 0
In the wake of the London bombings, there is a new campaign in the UK to get everyone to add a ‘ICE-In case of Emergency’ contact to their phone address books so that emergency services can quickly call from a victims moby to find out who they are, inform next of kin etc.
This is a very good idea and I immediately put my brother’s number in as I know he is level-headed in a crisis and if anything was wrong with me he would know what to do. The problem is though, he’s a bit of a technophiles (he’s only just got a DVD player!) and he hasn’t programmed any numbers into his phone so if the emergency services called him from my moby it would take him a while to work out who was in trouble!
