Sky To Offer Movies Over Broadband
In response to ntl and Telewest launching VoD services, Sky has just extended its online content to also include movies on demand.
Over 200 movies will be available for download and in the future there will also be a dedicated personal media player.
It will be interesting to see how Sky’s responds to the cable companies VoD launches and their upcoming PVR services. Sky’s services will always be limited because of its platform. For example, Telewest’s PVR will have 160GB of storage, three tuners and will be HDTV compatible - a much higher spec than Sky Plus.

only 200 films? it is very little, for example, if I visit to see some rare film I will not be able to find it there! their base is too small
