Wikipedia’s have produced a list of the Largest Mobile Phone Companies and I was amazed to see that Vodafone is no longer the largest, although they are still the most profitable. Here’s the full list:

- Verizon Wireless (IS-2000) – 45.5 million

- Vivo (IS-2000, IS-136) – 27 million
- Turkcell (GSM) – 23.4 million
