Video iPod-Confirmed?

Looks like Apple is going to launch a video iPod in the not so distant future with stories that Steve Jobs is in discussion with media owners like Disney to licence video content.
My old 40GB (3rd gen I think) is in need of a replacement as the battery is awful and my iTrip keeps falling out. However, I don't need a video player. What I need is a good mp3 player that can hold around 80GB of music. My collection currently is around 60GB so I want space to expand. I don't want to make the mistake I made the first time around of buying a 15GB and then realising within a week it was too small.
I think the hard disks that Toshiba (??) make currently max out at 60GB, so I guess I have to hope that my iPod hangs in there for another 6-12 months.
