Palm Relaunches Itself Again As….Palm

Last week, PalmOne renamed itself and is now once again Palm and is once again dedicating itself to becoming a leader that will shape the direction of the mobile computing space.Lets hope this happens as I used to be a big fan of palm. When I received my Palm Vx back in 1999 it revolutionised the way I worked (my company gave one to everyone including the postroom - unheard of now). I was working in a very busy Bus Dev role where I had back-2-back meetings most days and I never would have been able to manage my day without my Palm.

Recently Palm have been heading in right direction with the launch of the Treo and Lifedrive. Lets hope that the name change helps him to regain their position as the thought leaders in their sector.
