Vodafone have ditched David Beckham as the face of Vodafone live! which will cost David a cool £1 million per annum. I have to say this isn’t very surprising and I thought Voda would have done this as soon as David joined Real Madrid who are sponsored by Siemens, from Man Utd who of course are sponsored by Vodafone.

I also think the fact that people have caught onto to the fact that Beckham is no longer a world-class player (I still question if he ever was), who is now only good for threatening the kick down the opposition’s changing room door, must surely have contributed as well. Errol I think agrees with me and grudgingly gave Beckham 5/10 for his performances last season.
