Amazon launched ‘Search Inside’ this week which allows users can now search the full text of more than 125,000 books at Amazon.co.uk. In collaboration with leading publishers, Amazon’s ‘Search Inside!’ function enables customers to search more than 39 million pages of text.I think they must have had some issues launching this service as I had an interview ages ago to head up this division in Europe. I can’t remember exactly when, but the service first lauched in the US in October 2003 so I think it was shortly after that.To check out the service click here
