MyBlogLog

I just read a story on Problogger about MyBlogLog which tracks what links site visitors click on to leave your site. Even though I don’t have any adverts on my site where I need to track their effectiveness I think this data will be invaluable as it will tell me where my hotspots are and what links work and which ones don’t, to help me drive traffic back into my blog.
Setting up the service was easy and only took me 2 minutes. The free service tracks the top ten links each day whereas the premium services start at $3pm but offers real-time stats. Once my trial of the free service ends I’m going to signup for the premium service which will make a bit more money for Darren (not that he needs it!) as they have an affiliate program.
I’ve even added a new component on the right-hand side of my blog (at the bottom), which shows the top 5 links which is updated hourly.
