Comment Spam

My decision to allow anonymous comments seems to have resulted in a lot of comment spam again - I’m deleting about 50 a day which is manageable.

I’m not quite sure why they do it? Are there hidden links in the posts in an attempt to increase the page rank of some Viagra site somewhere?

Peter from Blogware recommended that I turn on the ‘NO FOLLOW’ so that google will ignore it when ranking the site. I’m going to hold off doing this as I want to play fair with genuine posters as I post on other sites for exactly the same reasons.
