Revenge Of The Sith Downloaded 50,000 Times In July
The number of file-sharers remains steady despite a number of recent successful prosecutions by record companies against illegal music downloaders. Star Wars Revenge of the Sith was the most downloaded film for the second month running, according to new statistics on peer-to-peer traffic from Internet security company BayTSP. ,p> ‘Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith’ was downloaded 49,522 times in July on the Fast Track and eDonkey networks - down slightly from 55,258 downloads in June. The second most downloaded film was ‘Madagascar’ with 37,452 downloads. Looking at BayTSPs stats it loooks like security is a growing concern, with Norton AntiVirus 2005 being the most popular
software title on the two P2P networks during the month, with 83,190 copies downloaded. Many ISPs are looking to cash in on these fears by offering free security with access products, with Comcast being the latest ISP to offer free security.
