Two Great Gmail Tweaks

Gmail has been a major revelation for me over the last day or so. Until yesterday I was using Thunderbird as my email client, but Gmail is so much faster and it is already changing the way I manage and organise my conversations.I discovered two cool Gmail tweaks today, courtesy of Persistent Info, that utilise the Greasemonkey extension for Firefox. The Gmail Conversation Preview script displays a nifty preview window like the one below with you right-click on any conversation:
The second script adds a nifty persistent search box to Gmail. Clicking on a search executes the saved query. To refresh result counts, click on the refresh icon in the upper right corner. Use the “Edit searches” link to customize your persistent searches. It also adds a “Toggle font” link which switches the message font to a fixed size one.
