This video previews some of the new functionality that is coming in Office12. The whole video is 40 mins long so I just kept skipping. Here are the items I’ve spotted that I like:
- I like the way Microsoft have tried to make it easier for users to access the functionality within Office12 using tabs. I find it frustrating sometimes having to root around in the current menus trying to find features or having to spend ages setting up my own custom toolbars.
- The improvements to slideshow in Powerpoint are much needed. I hate how hard it is currently to preview your show
- The slider to control zoom within spreadsheets
- The formula tab is amazing. I hate having to hit f1 to find the function I want and also the syntax
Overall Office12 gets a big thumbs up from me.
