The Opera Web browser is now free. I’m glad they’ve finally seen since over at Opera -trying to charge for your software when the two market leaders, Internet Explorer an Firefox, are free was insane.

Since charging for it was what made it possible to fund and grow the company and software in the first place I would not call it “insane”..

Opera is now freeware. Opera is a web browser, which is far older than Mozilla, and has a decent sized user-base. It has similar features to Firefox.
What effect will it have on Firefox?

I would really like to know from users who have used both Opera and Firefox, which browser you would prefer.
I am just about happy using firefox. Have junked IE sometime back. What more can I look forward using Opera ?

I’m curious as to whether or not Opera will support Flash…bcus I seem to have a problem downloading Adobe Flash on Mozilla..which is irritating..bcus I cannot see some things, half the time!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr That means I cannot see half of the photo’s, etc..on alot of the websites and people’s profile pages, etc.!! Discouraging!!
