Wikipedia Enters The Top Ten Online News/Info Sites

Wikipedia has broken into the Top 10 Online News & Information Destination sites.I love Wikipedia. In the same way that I tend to go to eBay first when I’m shopping, I tend to go to Wikipedia first to do research.
Even though my educational background is mathematical and in the sciences (I actually got into Cambridge University originally to read maths but I changed to Economics in my first year), my favourite and best subject at school by far was history.
For years there were questions like e.g. ‘How did the British Empire in all its might lose the War of Independence?’ that I wanted to research but never got into. Now using Wikipedia, this is easy with several good articles on the subject.
I think it is great that Wikipedia is still a advertising free site and that companies like Yahoo! are supporting it with cash and hardware.
