I’ve recently added Chitika eMiniMalls to my blog and so far I’ve been impressed with the results. My Chitika ads are outperforming my Google AdSense ads by around 50%, even though in my view the AdSense ads are in better positions on my blog.
Also, my Chitika ads aren’t contextual because as part of Google’s terms & conditions I’m not allowed to run another contextual advertising system.
It makes me wonder if the Chitika ads are doing well because of the novelty and their eye-catching ability, and whether they will continue to run better in the long-run than AdSense.
Has anyone tried running just Chitika ads and removing AdSense ads so that Chitika can contextualise their ads? I’m tempted to give it a go to see what kind of numbers I can generate.
