Chitika To Launch Local eMiniMall Ads
Everton | Nov 28, 2005 | Comments 3
Darren Rowse reports that Chitika is on the verge of launching local UK ads, with other European countries to follow, which will hopefully help CTR rates as UK consumers are more likely to click on UK ads.
Does anyone know if the UK ads will be displayed if Chitika spots a UK IP address or will all ads be from the UK regardless of the location of the visitor?
I’m just a bit worried, as my Chitika ads are performing reasonably well, and even though I run a UK blog the majority of my visitors are from the US.
Update: I’m seeing UK ads without making any changes to my account so they are geo-targeting automatically

Ugh. I am distraught about this: almost all of my visitors are American and this really blows what was turning out to be an excellent revenue source right out of the water…
Is there anyway around it?
They are geo-targetting automatically so don't panic!
I'm prone to panicking: but I get it now, thank you!
