Watch Free TV with your PC

gHacks have written an excellent guide on how to watch free TV over the internet, including sports broadcasts. Programming is streamed via P2P, so the quality is dependent on how many people are watching each stream.

I’ve used Pplive before but I’ve never come across Ppstream or Sopcast, so I’m going to give it them a try over the weekend.

If you want to give any of these services a try make sure you connect to the stream you want to watch at least 10 minutes before the game starts so that by the time the main event starts, the quality will have picked up. Also, even if the event you want to watch isn’t listed on the main channels it’s worth searching club forums or bulletin boards as additional links are usually posted.

these live tv opportunities will definitely increase in future but we have a very big problem about internet speed in Turkey. I envy you in the countries with high speeds that you won’t need TV in near future.
