Do Google Miss Anything??? Check Out 466453.com
As most of you I work for an ISP/Telco/Portal in the UK. One of the things I think we are really bad at is securing domain names that are related to our business units e.g. misspellings, getting all variants (.com, .co.uk, .org etc). It has cost us dearly in the past where we have had to overpay to get domains that we should have got for a quid.
I wish we would take a leaf out of Google’s book, who have even started registering domains based on numeric keyboards that use predictive text like most mobile phones. For instance, they have even registered 466453.com. Why? Try it on your phone and see what it spells.
