Playstation 3s Available on eBay?

Kotaku reports that nearly 40,000 Xbox 360s were sold on eBay - that’s nearly 10% of all the Xbox 360s that were produced.

I wonder what will happen when the Playstation 3 is launched? I’m sure there will be a lot of people who will try to make a fast buck by placing lots of pre-orders, hoping that supply of Playstation 3s will be in short supply.

I really hope that Sony don’t make the same mistakes as Microsoft and ensure there are enough Playstation 3s to go around. This would really mess up the speculators who would have ’stock’ they cant sell for a profit.

This happened in the UK with Xbox 360 games and accessories, which were in ample supply, so were going cheap on eBay as the speculators had to offload them fast.
