Now You Can Use Google Talk From Within Gmail

Google are rolling out a new facility within Gmail that integrates it with Google Talk. Gmail users will now be able to chat with anyone with a Gmail account without leaving the Gmail interface, with no need to load a separate program or look up new addresses.
Features include a Quick Contacts list that displays the contact the user communicates with most often. Conversations can also be archived, although this feature can be turned off.
I think this is a great move, and aids my goal of having everything browser-based without any additional apps running at the same time. All I need to do now is try and convince my buddies to move over from MSN, which totally dominates the UK market.
