Blue Peter Suspend Badge Privileges In Response To eBay Sales
In response to recent sales of Blue Peter badges on eBay, the TV show has just suspended all badge holder privileges like free entry to attractions until they work out a way to stop the sale of badges on eBay. All seems a bit drastic to me, and I feel sorry for all the kiddies who have earned their badges over the years. For those of you outside the UK, Blue Peter is a British Institution and I think it has been running for 30+ years.
Also, out of interest is Konnie Haq no longer a Blue Peter presenter? I didn’t see her on today’s show. If she’s not I hope she’s moved onto bigger and better things as she’s an old mate from Uni, although I haven’t spoken to her for around 4 years.
