R.I.P Kiyan
I just discovered that my friend’s son, Kiyan Prince, was the young lad stabbed to death yesterday outside his school.
I’m absolutely gutted as he had everything going for him. He was doing well at school and was an outstanding athlete, playing football for QPR. This boy could have done anything he wanted in life and picked his sport, as he’d inherited his Dad’s massive strength (professional boxer Mark Prince who’s only loss was a light-heavyweight world title fight).
Apparently all Kiyan tried to do was break up a fight between two other lads. This sounds so like him and is totally in character, but it ended up costing him his life.
Something really needs to be done about young lads carrying knives. Too many kids who should have their whole lives to look forward to, are being snuffed out far too early.
R.I.P Kiyan.

Just posting to say sorry to hear that you knew Kiyan, may he rest in peace. It's so often those that try to help people that end up getting hurt, it's very sad.

I’m just glad that they finally convicted his killer - can’t believe it’s taken so long especially since they arrested him straight away. Hopefully now his family can concentrate on dealing with Kiyan’s loss once they sentence him next week.
I’ll do a post when I find out how to get a T-shirt - I want one as well. I’m from Nottingham where the gun thing has just got out of hand now.
Keep checking back
