man wp-cache saved my ass today, I already got some hundreds users at a time and one of my stories made it on digg homepage, was at 700+ online users, site was running real slow and I remembered you mentioning this plugin.

have you tried posting google video or youtube? how hard did you find it?
I could with youtube but its impossible for me to post a google video on my blog. Should be easier.

I am trying to locate a perfect pulgin that can make wordpress as a CMS + Blog. Such as use one page such as Home as the one default page to open when my site is addressed; without loosing the blog features.
I have tried a couple but could stick to none because of the two edged sword.

Anybody has found one?

Thanks for the tip Tris – I’ve installed No Ping Wait and I really hope it helps with future posts.

I tried Qumana out when I was with Blogware. It was better than the Blogware interface, but I like to do my posting within my browser.

I agree. Although I’m still with Blogware (they sponsor my main blog) for several blogs I do love the flexibilty of WP. You might also like Related Posts, Democracy (polls), Subscribe to comments (though it looks like you’ve got that covered) and No Ping Wait.

For the post meta … have you tried Qumana for posting? You know, one click Technorati tags and all.
