New Poll: Who Do You Think Will Win The World Cup?
I’ve just created a new poll: ‘Who Will Win The World Cup?’.
After the first batch of games Argentina are looking very good and I’m still backing them. England were shocking, but I don’t think we’ve had a good opening game since 1998 when Scholes had a blinder as he tried to prove to the nation we didn’t need Gazza, so I guess it’s too early to get worried.
So, who do you think is going to win? Click here to vote now, or scroll down to ‘The Vote’ in the sidebar to see the current scores on the doors.

They may be the hosts but do you really think Germany will win? They don’t stand a chance. They only have one World Class player in Ballack and he’s struggling with injuries.

Ok, you’re excused
However, I’m English and I didn’t go for England - great players, but not a great team.
I went for Argentina although I could as easily have gone for Brazil.

[...] Brazil are the favourites, but I don’t agree. I think the climate will suit European players or players used to playing in Europe so I’m going for Argentina to win and they are slowly creeping up the ‘Who Will Win The World Cup Poll’ as the majority of their team play their club football in Europe. I know lots of people will disagree with me. [...]
