Blue Peter Relaunch Badges After Problems With eBay Sales

After suspending all Blue Peter Badges because some badge holders were selling their badges on eBay as the badges entitled holders to free entry to over 200 attractions, Blue Peter have just relaunched the scheme.

One of their viewers 11 year-old Helen Jenning came up with the solution - issue a photo ID card that has to be displayed alongside the badge. Seems like a pretty obvious solution to me, and I’m surprised that the Blue Peter team didn’t come up with this themselves. Particularly presenter Konnie Haq as she’s got a 1st class degree from Cambridge!
