I was charged twice, received the wrong item (LATE) then returned the item and had to go to my bank to get any satisfaction but, in the end was only reimbursed for one item and PIXMANIA got to keep both payments because the bank coughed up for one mis-charge.
I have been trying to stop them sending their rubbish emails to no avail.
AVOID THESE GANGSTERS LIKE THE PLAGUE ! THEY ARE BAAAAAD PEOPLE !!!

Pixmania's After Sales Service is Non exsistent. Over 5 weeks ago I ordered a Leather Case for my Mobile Phone, IN STOCK according to the website. I have asked to cancel my order and have a refund, each time I get a standard reply contact Mobilostore the Company apparently suppling it. My Credit Card statement shows money went to FotoVista the parent Company of Pixmania. No reply from FotoVista or Mobilostore.
I have emailed DSG the Company who owns them and Curry's. still no reply. I am now going to open a dispute with Paypal.

"Team Pixmania" are more than uselss. They terms and conditions breach UK and European Law. I ordered a camara and extras in September 2008 and the good have never been delievered to me. It seems they delivered it to some random person who signed "Paul" (my name is not Paul btw). I provided a copy of my signature (which unsuprisingly was nothing whatsoever like "Paul") over 3 months ago and yet I am still waiting for a refund...... Pixmania are coming up with pathetic excuses. E.g. If you were to order goods from them and the courier company deliver it to someone other than you it is apparently not Pixmania's problem! i.e. they will breach a term of the contract (non-performance) and still think it's ok to take your money. Do not order from Pixmania.

Team Pixmania ?
You must be the most incompetent "Team" there is.
You do take customers money; invest it and do not deliver the goods. Just before legal action is taken against you, a refund is on the way.
Let us hope and pray that you go bust this year, you have certainly deserved it.

STAY AWAY FROM PIXMANIA.

I placed an oder for a Canon EOS1000D DSLR camera which the was advertised price on Amazon was £158.00 (although the seller was PixMania) when I knew that the DSLR goes for in excess of £360.00.

I paid and the order got processed only to receive an email from PixMania the following day stating they were out of stock. LIES!!!!. I then went into their website and placed an order for the same camera @£380.00 and surprise surprise they had loads of stock.
They are not willing to honour the deal. Shame on you Pix Mania.

Ahhh, the odious company lackeys have turned up.
This company are liars, the OFT are looking into there false advertising (always in stock? yeah right. they'll tell you it is until they've got your money).
Now may I suggest you hop of and study a little English grammar rather than translating "cheese eating surrender monkey" through Babelfish and posting the result here.

hey there u dumb asses. I can understand your complains...then why the f...don`t u move your fat behinds and go to the stores and by the damn thing. I heard of people ordering a cooker, fridge or a memory card online and then complaining what will they do if it becomes faulty (they have to sent it back to be repaired) and what will they do without a cooker when it becomes faulty. well how lazy can u be or how stupid to order something like this online and then complain that the express shipping fee for a 1 giga memory card is higher than the actual card price.

I am wondering whether Olivia has any ties or is a worker at Pixmania given her knowledge of the number of parcels etc. If not apologies but I wholeheartedly disagree that Pixmania does not deserve a bad or "bag" reputation as she puts it.
Customers that have been maltreated like myself beg to differ. How many exceptions like us should there be before acceptable? There should in fact be none and from this and many other review sites there are many, possibly hundreds of complaints no doubt many people are unaware of how to post a complaint.
The nature of the problems posted are not about one off failures, but they in stead reveal systematic flaws in the Pixmania's business processes and customer service which is almost non-existent. It is nearly impossible to get hold of a customer service operator, emails/conversations are seldom replied to, products are defective and out-of-stock beyond what is acceptable and worst of all payments are accepted before orders are processed. Pixmania do not operate morally and in my opinion push the boundaries of what is a legitimate operation. People including myself can accept that other partner companies/companies in Pixmania's supply chain may be responsible for failures from time to time. However, the complaints that are on these sites mostly involve the way in which Pixmania treats customers poorly when things go wrong. My experience was that this company is one if not the worst I have ever had to deal with and I still feel this way nearly 7 months on...

please do not waste your time trying to build pixmania a bag reputation. all of you are exceptions, after the warehouse is dispaching 10.000 parcels daily. pixmania is not the only one responsible for these cases. the transporters usually don't do their job properly and customers only blame the company.

Pixmania are a really awful company, my heart is broken trying to get justice from them. I urge u to avoid them. I returned my camera 3 times with the same problem and it still isn't working, . Before sending it back the 3rd time I rang ahead and was promised a new camera as it hadn't been fixed twice already. BUT now they're refusing to fix it even though it's within warranty and I have honestly done nothing irregular to it, (this next bit might even be considered funny) they're actually demanding eu.12 to give it back, I have to pay to get my own unfixed property back, PLUS the postage! My other 2 options are either to pay eu.172 to have it fixed (they failed to do this twice before already!), or my camera will be "destroyed". No company has ever made me feel so shafted, abused, frustrated, annoyed, ripped-off. They won't call, email you back etc. etc. ad infinitum, I've wasted over 70 euro sending my (Olympus, AVOID also) camera back by post thrice then calling from abroad, wate of time, plus I've been without any camera while the whole thing drags on uuuuuuuuurgh, my heart is broken

No company has ever made me feel so shafted, abused, frustrated, annoyed, ripped-off. They won’t call, email you back etc. etc. ad infinitum, I’ve wasted over 70 euro sending my (Olympus, AVOID also) camera back by post thrice then calling from abroad, wate of time, plus I’ve been without any camera while the whole thing drags on uuuuuuuuurgh, my heart is broken

I ordered a new ATI hd 4870 graphics card from them because it clearly stated "In Stock" on their site. As soon as the money cleared from my account they mailed me to say I'd have to wait while new stock arrived.
The thing is the site was still stating the the Card was in stock. It still is yet I'm still waiting.
They are liars and its not fair on other sites who tell you straight.
Avoid.

I bought 3 External drives (1 media drive, 2 others) Back in FEB 2008 the Media drive would not work and after several calls and email a lady told me off the record deal direct with LaCie as it will be quicker and save all replies.
After a month of emails back and forth LaCie confirmed as faulty drive and sent me a code to give to pixmania. again after several calls trying to explain (one of them thought i wanted to buy a new one and just connected me to sales) manages to get a retunes ticket i sent the drive 4 weeks later (and loads of chasing) it came back untouched with a letter all in French. it is now JULY and still not resolved .... STAY AWAY. customer service pot luck if you get one that can understand English or they will not put you through to manager totally useless

i have bought two month ago a sony cybershoot from pixmenia.the focus went dead two weeks ago,and then i realized there was no warrenty certificate arrived with the camera. i have sent number of email, which no one answered them,i called them a few times, and for some reason the call was dissconected few times after one minute passed since they answered. finally one call wasnt disconnected, and their representative answered and told me that the certificate isnt needed, and its enought to go to sony with the invoice, and they will fix my camera.i called sony, and as expected they told me that i need the invoice+the certificate in order to get the reapir done. for the last couple of days im trying to contect them again,by emails(no response)by phone(gets disconnected).i have no idea what i can do now :( . but pixmenia is the shittiest company i have ever encountered, and even if they have prices that are abit lower then the market,i wouldnt advice anyone to buy anything from them!!!

I've used Pixmania once and had a good experience with them. The item was very cheap and arrived quickly; however, I didn't have to send anything back or communicate with them in any way after the initial order (let's hope the item in question doesn't go wrong, eh?)

I had a bad experience with Scan - I regular spend £800-900 on new PC parts with them, and the last time I did the motherboard - worth just £60 - was damaged. They firstly refused to help, stating that I must have damaged it, and when I did manage to convince them that I knew what I was doing and wouldn't have accidently damaged it they just said I hadn't reported the fault within 48 hours of receiving the goods - even though no problems became apparent until a week later - and weren't prepared to assist any further. When I suggested that it would be good customer service to offer a replacement of an item that must cost them no more than 5% of the total order value, they didn't want to know.

It seems that the problems with these companies tend to crop up when things go wrong. I won't be using Scan anymore (Dabs are just as good), and I'd advise anyone else not to either.

I ordered three external hard drives in February. They took much longer to arrive than the website had promised, and then one of them turned out to be defective. I sent it back to Pixmania's returns department and they informed me it would be "repaired." I had requested that it would be replaced. It's now almost the end of April and I am still waiting for the hard drive to be returned to me. This is just about the worst customer service I've ever encountered.

Find other retailer........agree that "They are a ridiculous company, and have not had any other problems from other shopping sites.
I ordered a camera saturday evening and waited until monday for the money to sort out on the site and for them to move to the next stage of packing. early monday i received a call to ask for personal details from me so they can sort out the camera. I sent them my bills and a letter head from my work, only for them to say they cannot accept it, and require more, as i wasnt comfortable with this i declined and emailed them to say i will not send any more as they do not require it, al they sent me was again the same email to say the document are not accepted, i emailed again to say i wasnt sending them any, to their reply, the same email.
If that is a good Customer service to not reply to my questions and send the same email to me 3 times, to an already annoyed customer, then im Jesus!
They are a ridiculous company, and have not had any other problems from other shopping sites. So i will not recommend them to anyone, Pixmania are terrible, and i hope they refund my money ASAP.
