The FA will just brush this under the carpet. Terry's one of the untouchables and the press love him. There's no way they're going to take away the pedestal they've put him on. It'll be convieniently forgotten.

I'm not surprised Terry targetted King if it did happen - everyone knows, including Terry, that he's a better player, but because he's black they won't put him in the team, particularly to replace one of the golden ones.

If it is true that Terry is a racist, shouldn't he be dropped from the side alltogether? I mean the man has his place because he is physical. He definately lacks the flair that modern players have! He is just another average player, who is over hyped by the British media!

Bit of a shame really..again - So all the "lets stamp racism out" campaign is preached by the FA, the british media brings us all the news regarding racists taunts in spainish football etc and how very naughty some people can be and yet when it happens in their backyard not a word is breathed. I read the papers this morning and the excuses pour from the sports writers that the England's "injury" list is getting bigger..

Yeah right!

As a footballer, I don't like John Terry and I think he knows King is better than him. But its not about that really.

As a sporting nation we will never get it right. Too often the big boys seem to bow to the imaginary pressure of keeping their "chosen ones" on a pedestal for fear of what the outcome would be should the "golden boys" not look so golden in the adoring nations eyes. When they should be dealing with the issues at hand.

I really think we as a sporting nation have an attitude problem, and until it is sorted out, overcome or however it is suppressed, we will never achieve anything that would be worth putting on a pedestal.

And don't even think about the ashes...
