Why Is Yahoo’s Search Bot Constantly Crawling My Site?

I like to keep an eye on my ‘Who’s Online‘ page which can be quite informative and a very quick way of gauging how much traffic I’m getting.
One thing I’ve noticed is that Yahoo’s Search Bot is constantly crawling my site, and that there are always multiple instances running at the same time.  Does anyone know why? It just seems so inefficient.
Google’s Bot in comparison seems to be more effective and only seems to scan new posts that I’ve made, or old posts where I’ve tidied up the formatting which got messed up when I moved from Blogware to Wordpress (I tend to tidy up a few a week).

All I can say is, depsite all the crawling by Yahoo’ bots, I get next to no traffic at all from Yahoo!  All of my search engine traffic seems to come from Google, with MSN chipping in now and then.

Maybe one day I’ll get around to checking if I’m doing something wrong which is ruining my chances of getting traffic from Yahoo.  Maybe, there’s something wrong with my template which is why the Yahoo bots keep scanning the same pages over and over again….
