Feedburner Ad Network (FAN)
I joined the Feedburner Ad Network about a month ago with high expectations, as membership is by invitation only and also because they sell ads based on channels and the impressions are shared out amongst members so I thought I’d be hanging with the big boys. However, this network hasn’t really been generating as much cash as I hoped. In fact, AdBrite has passed FAN’s daily run rate after only one day’s operation.
I think I’m going to give FAN one more month before I switch to Performancing, or another similar network.
ReviewMe
I signed up for ReviewMe last week. ReviewME have created a marketplace through which advertisers can get bloggers to talk about their products. A searchable directory is available for advertisers to choose the blogs they want to use. I’ve only had one offer so far, but I’m hoping to do a couple of these a month. I’m constantly bombarded with emails asking me to try products or promote launches. In the past I tended to just post the ones I found interesting for free, even though I knew I was being kinda taken advantage of, but I always like to help. What I’m going to do now is start diverting some of these through ReviewME, so that at least I get some payback for the free promotion.
I hope you found these tips useful. Please share with other readers your experiences with other networks, or any tips you might have.
