Interesting New Digg Clone: Quotiki
Quotiki looks like it could be interesting for all of 5 minutes. This new site lets you submit your favourite quotes, which if voted upon by other readers rise to the top just like Digg. I don’t think the site will be a major destination site, but it could become a useful destination if you’re looking for a good quote for a presentation or an essay. It’ll definitely feature highly on search engines.
My favourite quote wasn’t listed so I submitted it. It’s part of a funny exchange between Winston Churchill and Bessie Braddock, a Female Liberal MP:
Bessie Braddock to Winston Churchill “Winston, your drunk!”
Winston Churchill: “Bessie you’re ugly, and tomorrow morning I shall be sober”
