PS3 Hacking Showing Promise

One of the main reasons I bought my Xbox 360 last year, was because I hoped the Xbox modding community would bring out ‘XBMC360′, a suped up version of XBMC.  However, Microsoft’s attempts to make the XBox 360 unkackable seem to have paid off with very little progress made over the last 12 months.

Well, it looks like the PS3 modding crowd are making more progress already managing to install LINUX and using it to dump a 7.08GB ISO file from Madden 07 onto an external hard drive.  Looks like I might be buying a Playstation 3 next year so that I have a HD media center.
