Watch More Free TV Online: TVlinks

It’s getting harder and harder for broadcasters to stop their content appearing online. Not only do they have to contend with P2P and Usenet, they now have to deal with the exponential growth of online video sites.

Take the latest service, TVlinks discovered by Martin from gHacks. TVlinks is a directory that amalgamates the most popular tv shows, cartoon & anime series. Once you’ve found a show you want to watch, all you have to do is just click on the link and it will take you through to the website hosting the movie.

The shows listed below give you an idea of the breadth of shows available:

  • 24 all five seasons
  • friends 6 seasons
  • one tree hill four seasons
  • desperate housewives
  • seinfeld
  • stargate
  • the office

i.e. a lot of the major shows. The amount of content that is appearing online is making it harder for shows to be syndicated internationally, as many users can’t be bothered to wait sometimes up to 12 month to see the latest episodes of Prison Break, Heroes, Lost etc. In the UK Sky have stated that they are trying to delay the time it takes for the latest episodes to appear in the UK, and I really think this is because of the growing trend for users to download TV shows.

    Now if someone could just figure out how to access the closed captioning/subtitling that is embedded in the shows on the TV, my life would be complete! :) Surely there is somebody out there with the computer know how to do this, so that us deaf and hard of hearing people can view the online TV with text. Anyone out there up to the challenge?

    but they dont have the lost series.
    does any one know a easy, good site where i can watch lost season four online?

    dawn i’m completly lost!! had found a new ‘tv-links.co.uk’ mirror… not the mirror ‘tv-links.cc’ we can found now…
    i was searchin on google something stupid like “free movies online”, and founded in the title TV-…(finishing in ..’in’)…damn! it was exatly the dot co.uk we knew, with a blue template.. but a refresh of firefox’s downloads erased my brand new Backwards..[Ctrl+B].. so searchin on G**GLE with tv-links.cc keywords >>meta name= ‘keywords’ content=’TV Links, TV Shows, Movies, Music Videos… or better >> intitle:tv- but cant find it no more…

    If anyone didn’t know, i found out it was faster to watch online TV using web proxy - i used http://www.hidbyproxy.com and actually everything loaded for me faster
