Problems With Akismet Filters?

Are any other WordPress users having problems today with spam getting through the usually infallible Akismet filters?

I’m also getting a ton of spam on my WordPress blog today, and I usually get none. I found this post on Technorati because I was wondering if anybody else was having issues. I guess so.

I’ve installed the trackback validator plugin which seems to have helped a bit with trackback spam

Yep, I got a flood of trackbacks late on Tuesday evening. Normally only one or two a month manage to make it past Akismet and into my inbox for approval.
