James Kim’s Body Found

I was very sad to return home tonight and learn that they discovered James Kim’s body today, 11 days after he went missing with his wife and two daughters.

James Kim was a senior editor covering digital audio who also co-hosted a weekly video podcast for the Crave gadgets blog. The story of his disappearance hit the blogosphere last week and I was really hoping they would find him, but when they discovered his wife and kids on Monday who survived by burning tyres when then ran out of gas, while Kim set out to try and find help, I kind of feared the worse.

It’s not nice when anyone dies, but even sadder when a man dies trying to save his family. Really really sad.
