1,000th Post On Connected Internet!

1000.gifI was just clearing out more spam on Connected Internet and I’ve just realised that this will be my 1,000 Post! To be honest, I actually thought that I’d already passed this landmark but it was nice to actually spot this achievement.

I started blogging around 21 months so on average I’ve made around 1.5 posts per day. At the moment I’m posting more than that per day, so hopefully the 2nd 1,000 posts won’t take me as long.

What I’m particularly happy about is that I’m now receiving more comments than posts (sadly Akismet has had to block 53K spam comments - and that’s only in the last six months), as it was really hard to motivate myself when I didn’t know if anyone was valuing or reading my efforts. If you’re running a low traffic site and are finding it hard to keep going, all I can say is hang in there and the readers will come eventually.

I want to say a big thank you to the millions (wow!) of readers who have read Connected Internet over the last 2 years, and I hope that I will continue to hopefully inform and entertain you in the future.
