Pixelotto Looks Like It’s Going To Be A Failure - Only 16K Pixels Sold Last 7 Days

I’ve just had another look at the Pixelotto site to see how close it was to selling out, and in the last week only 16,000 pixels have been sold raising the prize fund to only $136K.

In a way I’m kind of happy that Pixelotto is failing. I have nothing against Alex Tew and his success with the MillionDollarhomepage, but if someone is going to make a lot of money I want them to work hard for it as it’ll make me feel happier that I’m not a millionaire!

I do feel sorry for lastminute.com though. They clearly decided to get in early with Pixelotto to lock down the ‘hotspot’ right in the middle of the page. However, their brand is now situated right smack in the middle of some questionable sites. If I was them I’d probably pull the ad.

Well - it wasn’t a failure in the fact that it made him £75k - however, long term it wasn’t successful.
