MyBlogLog - Simply Brilliant!

I didn’t really pay attention to the recent Yahoo! acquisition of MyBlogLog as I very presumptuously assumed that I knew everything about the company, as I’d installed and removed the MyBlogLog code about a year ago.

However, I just noticed that gravatar type images were appearing on my comments.  At first I thought somehow I’d turned on a gravatar plugin or something without realising, but after a bit of digging around I realised the images were coming from MyBlogLog - I’d forgotten I’d added the code.  I don’t know how the images are appearing as I only added one line of code to my header and nothing to the comments, but they integrate just perfectly.

Apparently MyBlogLog’s new Community service allow blog readers to learn more about each other e.g. you can see what they read, check out their MySpace and Friendster profiles and view their Flickr photostreams. My profile is a bit barren at the moment, but I’ve set it to automatically add sites that I visit to my profile once I’ve been there 10 times.

Good work Napolux. Your plugin is so much easier to implement and use than Gravatars. Even I worked it out!
