Ohio Hotel To Implement RFID Room-Key Wriststraps
The Great Wolf Lodge in Ohio is rolling out RFID-enabled wristbands when the hotel opens on December 14. The wristband will open your hotel room door and pay for food and drinks at various locations while on the theme-park island.
I’m started to find the potential for RFID technology exciting. My dreamshot would be to have RFID built into my phone so that I as soon as I walk onto the bus or tube my ticket was automatically paid for (apparently the Oyster card was supposed to be contactless but as usual our mayor Ken Livingstone couldn’t deliver), or I could pay my congestion charge just by driving past a scanner.

Actually Japan has been using mobile phone with build in RFID for subway, vending machine, cinema ticketing & etc..
That looks like a great idea. It would make things much more convenient! I wouldn’t have to carry around my wallet everywhere.
